Welcome to the Town of Willamette

In 1908, the Town of Willamette was incorporated near the confluence of the Willamette and Tualatin rivers, just upstream from the majestic Willamette Falls, approximately 15 miles south of Portland, Oregon.  By 1913, the City of West Linn was formed just to the north of the Town of Willamette.

Now, here is your opportunity to take a step back in time to experience life in the early villages.  On the Willamette Living History Lantern Light Tour your guides will lead you through homes and the lives of the first citizens of the Town of Willamette, as you hear sounds, see the sights, and breathe in the smells of one of the first suburban towns from the early 20th century.

The one day event is always held on the 3rd Saturday of September each year.
